Good compilation of global issues presented in reader-friendly style. Not overwhelming with statistics in the narrative... They're in tables off to the side in many cases. Better in paper than electronic. I bought in electronic at first because I knew I'd be traveling during the semester. Mistake. Eventually bought both versions.

The book information is great. I'm finding the information very helpful as I've been learning about global health. The binding is cheap the book is falling apart after a week.
Recommend the book but need new publisher who will bind it better. A $70 book should last longer than a week.
