This is a terrific and practical book on the uses and abuses of dental/medical research. It can be a little slow going at times, but the subject is a tough one. When you read a paper, how can you really tell if it was well constructed? How can you pick apart the researchers' biases? How can we recognize deliberate attempts to mislead us? I refer to this book all the time now. It is a "go to" resource for me.
