This mini book is a great way to guide an interview considering the DSM-V recently was published. It also includes a MSE.

I have a personal medical library with hundreds of titles, including several dozen pocket guides on a number of topics. This is the best such short guide I have yet encountered. It's about a centimenter thick, weighs nothing, and fits easily in the lab coat, and yet contains not only all the complete diagnostic information I need, but structures it in the form of easily usable questions, as well as "how-to" information, an overview of the MSE, the MMSE, and a good short guide to taking psych histories.
The reviewer who says that it cites Wikipedia is dead wrong. It does not. All the references are to highly reputable sources.
