This book, and the test materials that are provided to the instructors, is some of the worst I have seen. The questions are so poorly written, it's as if the person who wrote them did not know the material, but simply pulled random sentences from the text and wrote questions about them. It's like the tests are on the wording of the text as opposed to the material. Additionally, they have ambiguous answers as if they are definitively correct, when more than one multiple choice answer can be seen as correct. Like (paraphrase) "How long should you arrive before the first patient of the day arrives if you are assigned to open the office?" The book says 20 minutes, when in fact the answer would be something specific based on the type and size of the practice...what if there are 20 exam rooms to set up or 40 computers to boot up?? This is just one example of many idiotic questions on the test materials. I hope I don't have to use another Delmar text in the future.
