This was the only book I bought to prepare myself for the Psych AP. As a home-schooler, I hadn't had the opportunity to take the AP course at a high school, but was familiar with the study of psychology. This book presented an excellently organized laundry list of EXACTLY what I needed to focus on and explained the topics quite well. It guided my research and pointed me in the direction of all the famous names that would appear. I used it as a spring-board to my Wikipedia explorations; if a topic wasn't covered very in-depth, I would often research it a little on my own to get a broader understanding. Most times, however, this wasn't necessary.
In 2 months' study, I earned a score of 5. Absolutely worth it for Psych AP takers!

This book covers all you'll need to know to ace the AP Psychology exam. I had a great AP Psychology teacher, so going through this book once in the days leading up to the AP exam was more than enough for me to comfortably get a 5. And after recommending this book to my friends with worse teachers, they raved about how this prep book saved their AP test scores. I highly recommend this book to all AP Psych students, especially those who are short on time or those who don't have the best teachers.
