I think in order to learn nursing, I have to start with the basic. This book is teaching basic nursing. There is no information that gives you in-depth information on much of anything, but that is exactly the reason why I love this book. So, if you are looking for information that is in-depth of anything, look for another book for advance student.

This book is the foundation of my LPN course, the only issue I have with it is that it contradicts itself on numerous occasions! sometimes in the very next paragraph.It is very confusing when trying to learn and get a grasp on nursing basics,disease process, interventions etc, not to mention when test time comes around. Hopefully next time the editors will catch the MANY mistakes
